Your personal brand is in everything that you do. This can be seen through your social media accounts, your CV, your apperance and even the way you interac with people. These all add up to make your personal brand.

Continue to learn. This is the most important aspect when it comes to improving your own personal brand. Attend training courses, read books, listen to people speak. All of this will shape you and your personal brand. 

How do you look?

Personal social media isnt something we look on as a deciding factor when we are looking for a job. But this is one of the first places an employer will go to find out more about their potential new employee. Having a prestine social media account without much profanity and ‘NSFW’ pictures will definately aid you in getting the job.

Don’t stop building your network.

Have you ever heard the saying “It’s not what you know, its who you know.” Well……it’s false. Partly.  Whilst you need to know your stuff to get anywhere in life, you need opportunitues. Networking with people inside and outside your industry will give you the perfect balance of experience and opportunity. 

Create a plan.

Build a strategic plan of how you would like to be perceived by both potential employers and your peers.  You can refer to your plan when posting content, submitting comments, and creating blog posts.
